2.5 Shopping and Affiliate Information

When you engage with shopping features, we may collect information about products viewed, saved, clicked, or selected, shopping-link interactions, and associated attribution identifiers.

We may receive transaction-related information from affiliate networks or retailers, including whether a qualifying purchase occurred, the associated retailer or product, eligible transaction amounts, commission status, and other data necessary to calculate or verify affiliate earnings.

We generally do not process the full payment-card information for merchandise purchased directly from third-party retailers.

Creator payouts and tax forms are handled by Stripe.

Revy may receive account status, payout eligibility, transaction records, and payment-related information necessary to administer the Creator Program.

We may process uploaded content through AI or image-processing providers to deliver requested features. We will not permit third-party providers to use private wardrobe content to train their general-purpose AI models unless that use is separately disclosed and authorized as required by law.

4. How We Share Information

We may share relevant information with:

  • Service Providers: Companies that support cloud hosting, analytics, authentication, storage, AI processing, customer support, and Platform operations.
  • Payment Providers: Companies that process subscriptions, creator payouts, identity verification, or associated transactions.

  • Social Media Platforms: Third-party platforms where you authorize account connections or other integrations.
  • Other Users: Information and content you intentionally make public or share through Platform features.

  • Business Transactions: Parties involved in an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, sale, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We require third-party service providers that process personal information on our behalf, including analytics, AI, hosting, and payment providers, to provide the same or an equivalent level of protection for that information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not disclose private wardrobe photographs to other Revy users merely because they have been uploaded. Visibility depends on the user's sharing choices and the functionality provided.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Certain affiliate, analytics, or advertising arrangements may nevertheless constitute “sharing,” “sale,” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, depending on how those technologies operate. Where required, we provide relevant notices and opt-out rights.

5. AI Processing and Automated Recommendations

Revy may use artificial intelligence and other automated technologies to:

  • Identify and categorize clothing.
  • Remove or modify image backgrounds.
  • Recognize garments in inspiration photographs.
  • Suggest outfits based on existing wardrobe items.
  • Recommend similar or complementary products.
  • Personalize search, discovery, and shopping experiences.

Automated outputs may be inaccurate and should be reviewed by users.

Where third-party AI providers process personal information, we seek to apply appropriate contractual and technical protections consistent with the services they perform.

6. Affiliate Tracking and Third-Party Shopping

Revy may use affiliate links, attribution identifiers, referral information, and related technologies to understand whether shopping interactions result in eligible transactions.

Affiliate networks and retailers may collect information independently when you interact with their websites or services. Their data practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Revy is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party retailers.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

Retention periods may vary by information category. For example, creator transaction and payment records may need to be retained longer than ordinary wardrobe content because of tax, accounting, legal, or fraud-prevention obligations.

After account deletion, information will be deleted or de-identified according to applicable retention requirements, subject to permitted exceptions.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
  • Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
  • Opt out of certain targeted advertising, data sharing, or other regulated processing.
  • Appeal certain privacy-rights decisions where applicable.

You may request assistance exercising applicable rights by contacting support@getrevy.app. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

You may also control public content visibility, disconnect supported social accounts, and manage communication preferences through available Platform functionality.

10. Children's Privacy

Revy is not intended for children under 16. Users between 16 and 17 must have parental or guardian permission where required. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that an ineligible child has provided personal information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it in accordance with applicable law.

11. International Data Transfers

If information is processed or stored outside your state or country of residence, we will implement safeguards required by applicable law.
